Emoji Memory

This repo has the boilerplate to build a JS bundle with Browserify for projects that use Preact. It is mostly targeted at people who want to build a dynamic Preact app and are only interested in generating a single JavaScript file. If you want to generate a full app (with pre-rendered HTML, styles, routes and JavaScript), I would recommend preact-cli.

Emoji Memory was submitted to the js13kGames 2020 competition by Daniel Jeffery. It earned competition recognition. Like every js13k entry, the entire game — code, art, and audio — fits in 13 kilobytes, a constraint that rewards focused, clever design over bulk. Get yourself a copy of the repo, and do You will have a working bundled JavaScript file at `/public/js/bundle.js`.

Emoji Memory uses standard browser-game controls (keyboard, mouse, or touch). Open the game via the source link below to see the in-game instructions, as controls vary per entry.

As a js13k entry, expect a focused experience built around one core mechanic. Read the title screen for the specific objective and any special inputs.
